The Business Analyst/Project Manager evaluates business processes, determines areas for improvement, and elicits and defines business requirements that translate into software development yielding significant systemic efficiencies throughout Nitto America.
Responsibilities:
Business Analyst Responsibilities Interact with users at all levels of the organization to elicit and define business requirements related to process improvement initiatives and or business needs.
Lead ongoing reviews of business processes, anticipate requirements, uncover areas for improvement, and develop optimization strategies, and implement solutions.
Utilizing business/technical acumen and skilled communication, create use cases, business requirements documentation (BRD), and functional requirements documentation (FRD) to be used by internal & external IT partners /3rd part developers and business departments to develop technical solutions that are efficient and satisfactory to both the respective business and the process reengineering group.
Develop comprehensive workflow diagrams of current As-Is and future Should-Be business processes, systems, and user interactions utilizing MS Visio or other process flow applications.
Collaborating with IT development team, create the testing strategy, testing plan, and the writing of test scripts that follow use cases formulated during business requirements gathering.
Partner with Change Management staff to develop a training program and conduct formal training sessions covering the designated system changes or new system implementation.
Prepare technical reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends, especially KPI's and metrics that demonstrate process improvement related to system development efforts Effectively communicating insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management.
Gathering critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and producing useful reports.
Project Management Responsibilities Manage a project portfolio of process improvement initiatives that focus on functional and production areas.
Create various project pipeline reports to senior managers and other stakeholders.
Conduct timely meetings with project stakeholders about project issues, milestones, and accomplishments.
Development of project plans (using Microsoft Project or other acceptable application) for each assigned project that will track all milestones, resources, costs, and other defined attributes at project start.
Monitor the execution of activities per the project requirements.
Ensure that project deliverables are managed according to the established schedule and that the right communication channels are set up.
Ensure that necessary resources are available throughout all stages of the project lifecycle and allocate new or current resources as needed.
Assist all BPR team members in conducting Business Process Reengineering training seminars to corporate/functional audiences of varying levels.
Collaborate with BPR team in developing metrics for each of the respective business units that are effective, measurable, and attainable.
Education and/or
Experience:
BA/BS degree in Business, Operations, Management, Science, or related technical field.
Master's degree a plus.

years of requirements gathering experience for e-commerce, quotation, and/or customer relationship management applications such as JD Edwards, Oracle OCC, Oracle CRM, Oracle CPQ, PeopleSoft, Salesforce, or Siebel CRM.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required Project management and team leadership skills Computer Skills:
Microsoft Office 365 - Intermediate Level MS Project MS Visio Proficiency with Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Configure-Price-Quote (CPQ), Material Requirements Planning (MRP), and e-commerce applications a plus Proficiency with a Requirements Management systems (Modern Requirements, Case Complete or comparable) a plus SQL experience strongly preferred Certifications, Licenses, Registrations Project Management Certification (PMI/PMP), a plus Six Sigma Lean:
Green Belt, a plus.
Other Skills and Abilities:
Exceptional analytical, technical, conceptual thinking, and problem-solving skills.
The ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions.
Excellent documentation skills.
Experience in conducting meetings, creating detailed reports, and giving presentations.

A history of leading and supporting successful projects.
