Summary:
Under the supervision of the Office Manager, or another designated Officer, we are looking for a responsible Administrative Assistant to perform a variety of administrative work and general office functions, while using some independent judgment.
Requires a thorough knowledge of the association rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
Essential Functions:
1.
Composes and distributes routine correspondence.
2.
Design and create flyers, email blasts, invitations, and mailings for workshops.
3.
Assists in arrangements for meetings and workshops.
4.
Schedules appointments and maintains calendar.
5.
Maintains organizational files, records, and contact lists.
6.
Assists in preparation and assembly of mailings.
7.
Facilitates purchase of materials and refreshments for meetings.
8.
Set up space for in-house meetings and outside events.
9.
Greet visitors and members at the office.
10.
Answer and direct phone calls; receives and screens telephone calls, answering general questions from the public, other staff, and members within the scope of knowledge and responsibility, Take complete contact information for messages.
11.
Orders office supplies and research new deals.
12.
Must be flexible and perform other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS:
1.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
2.
Strong knowledge of general office practices and procedures.
3.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and other related software packages.
4.
Good time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks, with a positive attitude.
5.
Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
6.
High School degree; prior experience in an Administrative Assistant role.
SALARY:
As per the negotiated agreement.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
