ObGyn physician employment in New Jersey :

A healthcare network in New Jersey is seeking a licensed OB/GYN Laborist to join one of their facilities in Bergen County. In this role, the OB/GYN Laborist will be responsible for managing the Labor & Delivery process.

    7-on, 7-off shifts
  • Hours:
    12-hour shifts


Responsibilities:

The OB/GYN Laborist will:

  • Monitor the progress of labor, assess the well-being of both the mother and the baby, and make decisions regarding the need for interventions
  • Assess pregnant women who arrive at the hospital with various concerns
  • Provide emergency care to pregnant women who experience complications or unexpected events during labor and delivery
  • Consult with and provide care to pregnant women who are being managed by the hospital's primary OBGYNs or midwives
  • Assist with and perform cesarean sections (C-sections) when necessary
  • Provide postpartum care, including assessing the mother's recovery and addressing any postpartum complications.
  • Perform other duties, as needed


Qualifications:

  • Licensed to practice medicine in the State of New Jersey
  • Board Eligible / Certified

Board Certified or Board Eligible Medical Doctor with or w/o US residency with current US work visa.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
