Technical Support / Call Center

Description
The primary purpose of the Technical Support / Call Center position is to provide technical support via inbound and outbound calls for my clients customers and their sales team. Training of the processes and system software and hardware is provided. This support is provided by phone, email and in person. Support frequently involves connecting remotely to our customer?s computers using tools such as ?TeamViewer?, in order to resolve technical issues. If issues cannot be resolved, the technician will facilitate the return of the defective equipment and either repair or replace the hardware.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Answer tech support calls make outbound calls to existing customers.
Troubleshoot hardware and software issues using diagnostic assistance.
Record and keep call logs, including a synopsis of the situation and recommendations made.
Escalate technical issues to team if necessary.
Install software
Provide remote support to our customers and sales team
Assist other department employees as needed.
Print or email UPS ?Call Tag? shipping labels to return equipment
Requirements
1-2 years call center/customer service experience.
1-2 years tech support experience a plus.
2+ years hardware PC Hardware experience
A basic understanding of wireless networking, both on the PC and network level
Strong Microsoft Windows skills
Ability to quickly learn, implement and support new technology changes as they occur
Excellent oral and communication skills
Ability to work independently as well as in a team
Strong problem solving skills

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
