Manager HRMS Systems

JOB DESCRIPTION The Manager HRMS Systems will support Univision's HRMS system portfolio by providing expertise in Payroll, Time Management, and Expense Reimbursement management.  This person will work directly with the organization's Payroll, Finance, HR, and IT business partners.  The candidate is expected to evaluate, recommend, configure, support, and enhance solutions for complex HRMS business processes. The candidate will assist with management of service delivery and operations supporting theHRMS systems portfolio. The candidate will also collaborate with internal departments and external organizations including department heads, consultants, vendors and executive management team.   This position will be responsible for the system configuration and on-going support of ADP, Kronos, and Concur applications.   This person will interface with the core HRMS team to supportPayroll, expense reimbursement, time management, and Benefits programs; and will be responsible for partnering with the business to understand implications of HRMS to compensation, equity and future system requirements for HRMS hosted and in-house management solutions.  In addition, this position will play a key role in helping to develop and administer process improvement plans, policies and procedures. This position will report to VP Corporate Systems.  This position has no direct reports at this time. FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Serve as liaison to the business team and perform tasks required to implement, support, configure and enhance HRMS, Payroll and related products. Provide support for ADP HRMS, ADP Payroll, ADP GL, Concur, Kronos and other related HRMS / Payroll applications Lead logical 'Current State' to 'Future State' design initiatives that will convert user requirements into enterprise system functionalities using SDLC and approved methodologies Under general supervision, formulate and define system scope and objectives through research as well as utilize your understanding of the applicable business systems and industry requirements Collaborate with the team to drive the overall technology roadmap and translate business needs to technical requirements and designs to ensure solutions meet customer requirements Leverage Functional and Technical experience with the applications to develop specifications, partner with on and off shore contractors and collaborate on team solutions. Translate high-level business requirements to functional specifications for IT and manage changes to those specifications Test solutions and deliver end products to the business community Train users on business process functionality Negotiate agreements and commitments by facilitating communication between the business unit(s) and IT from initial requirements to final implementation Analyze and understand HRMS, Payroll and related process strengths and weaknesses to identify opportunities for automating processes and functions Possess expert knowledge of the business unit(s) you are supporting; understand IT systems and capabilities; and help educate IT on the direction of the business Create business requirements and other documents in support of projects Conduct business process analyses, needs assessments, and preliminary cost / benefits analyses in order to align information technology solutions with business initiatives Analyze and evaluate existing and/or proposed systems Lead process configuration design activities The aforementioned duties are not intended to be all-inclusive or to limit the discretionary authority of supervisors to assign other tasks of a similar nature or level of responsibility.  The duties listed above are intended to outline the main responsibilities of this position. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: Masters or bachelor's Degree, preferably in a related discipline EXPERIENCE/ KNOWLEDGE/ SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:  7+ years' experiencesupporting HRMS systems providing system administration, support, and business analysis. 3+ years' experiencesupporting at least two of the following applications: ADP HRMS, ADP Payroll, ADP GL, ADP iPAY, PeopleSoft, Concur, Kronos, Workday Have experience of working in gathering requirements, specifications, process mapping and business process design for HRMS. High level of professionalism and confidentiality in dealing with sensitive data and business information and initiatives. Established trusted/strategic adviser relationship with all departments to drive the optimal value of the new technology. Possess functional knowledge of HR core business processes as well as strong systems analytics and support background. Good understanding of supportprocesses, SLA and Ticket resolution process. Following would be a plus: PMP certification is a plus Experience in large or medium sized consulting performing implementations or upgrades of hosted or in house HRMS and Payroll Systems Previous advertising/media experience Fluent Bilingual (speak/read/write) in English and Spanish strongly preferred. req2792

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
