Manager Workday Systems

JOB DESCRIPTION The Manager Workday Systems will administer Univision's Workday HCM system and support Univision's portfolio of integrated HRMS applications. This person will work hands-on with a team of business system analysts and off-site consultants, while working directly with the organization's HR, Payroll, Finance, and IT business partners.  The candidate is expected to evaluate, recommend, configure, support, and enhance solutions for complex Workday HCM business processes. The candidate will assist with management of service delivery and operations supporting theHRMS systems portfolio. The candidate will also collaborate with internal departments and external organizations including department heads, consultants, vendors and executive management team.   This position will be responsible for the system administration and configuration and on-going maintenance of various Workday modules.  Specifically, the incumbent will be a systems administrator for HCM Core, ESS/MSS, Onboarding, Recruiting, Compensation, Performance, Talent, and Absence initiatives as well as ultimately expanding and maturing current service offerings.  This person will interact with the core HRMS team to supportHR, Payroll, expense reimbursement, time management, and benefits programs; and will be responsible for partnering with the business to understand implications of HRMS to compensation, equity and future system requirements for HRMS hosted and in-house management solutions.  In addition, this position will play a key role in helping to develop and administer process improvement plans, policies, and procedures which include helping to estimate projects, execute development project plans, proper allocation of resources, managing to budget, mentoring/developing key personnel, managing both on and off-site resources, and providing overall department management. This position will report to VP Corporate Systems.  This position has no direct reports currently. FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Support all Workday users by troubleshooting problems, answering questions, delegating access, creating and/or modifying reports, resetting passwords and assisting in the creation of documentation as needed Drive the functionality of the Workday system, facilitating discussions to understand business and information needs of HR, payroll, finance, and management, and making recommendations about how the system can best meet those needs Manage the system configuration, security administration, business processes, systems updates, and overall functionality of the Workday system Manage the Production Tenant and Sandbox environments by establishing a well-controlled systems environment by defining, documenting, and enforcing system standards Manage and ensuring the implementation of semi-annual releases from Workday Assist with the development of training plans to help end-users, specifically in HR, Payroll, and Finance, carrying out role-based and user-based responsibilities in the system Act as an internal consultant regarding system capabilities and represent Human Resources, Recruiting, and Finance in design and modification efforts for continual system alignment with business objectives Administering system security ensuring users are granted appropriate and approved access Maintaining and configuring all integrations with outside vendor partners Identifying, recommending and tracking opportunities for process and operational optimization Create documentation for new processes and updating existing documentation based on enhancements made to existing processes and tools Collaborate with in-house and 3rd party vendors to configure and test integrations between Workday and 3rd party solutions The aforementioned duties are not intended to be all-inclusive or to limit the discretionary authority of supervisors to assign other tasks of a similar nature or level of responsibility.  The duties listed above are intended to outline the main responsibilities of this position. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: Masters or bachelor's Degree, preferably in a related discipline EXPERIENCE/ KNOWLEDGE/ SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:  7+ years' experiencesupporting HRMS systems. 3+ years' experience as a Workday HCM administrator with direct responsibilities in the, ESS/MSS, Onboarding, Recruiting, Compensation, Performance, Talent, and Absence modules. High level of professionalism and confidentiality in dealing with sensitive data and business information and initiatives. Established trusted/strategic adviser relationship with all departments to drive the optimal value of the new technology. Possess functional knowledge of HR core business processes as well as strong systems analytics and support background. Capable of writing Standard, Advanced, Matrix and Composite reports. Experience with creating complex calculated fields, custom objects. Good understanding of supportprocesses, SLA and Ticket resolution process. Following would be a plus: PMP certification is a plus Experience with ADP, Concur, Kronos, Cornerstone, Experience in large or medium sized consulting performing implementations or upgrades of hosted or in house HRMS and Payroll Systems Previous advertising/media experience Fluent Bilingual (speak/read/write) in English and Spanish strongly preferred. req2793

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
