Employee Relations Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION The Employee Relations Manager will: Assist the Department Managers in the identification and development of performance improvement plans related to human resources issues Provide counseling to Managers and staff to resolve problems and mediate disputes Coordinate second step appeal process according to hospital policy Participate in new employee orientation process to ensure that all employees are properly oriented to both the hospital and the assigned department Coordinate the employment function for all departments within the hospital Ensure fair and equitable employment practices are followed in the areas of recruitment, employee relations and benefits & compensation Act as an employee advocate for all levels of staff and physicians while supporting the mission Represent the hospital at outside agency investigations of employee complaints and litigation related to termination of employment and other contested disciplinary actions Assist in the preparation of the annual budget for the Human Resources Department Perform and participate in special projects related to all aspects of HR administration, as assigned REQUIRED SKILLS 5+ years of Employee Relations experience Bachelor's Degree in a related field Previous experience in a Leadership role Project Management background Computer savvy Microsoft Office/Suite proficient Solid problem solving and time management skills Great interpersonal skills Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) Strong attention to detail Highly organized J145544
Salary Range: $90K - $120K
Minimum Qualification
5 - 7 years

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
