Director, Corporate Affairs and Workforce Development

Summary   Reporting to the Senior Director of Corporate Affairs to lead Cognizant's efforts in building STEM skills across North America and in turn continuing to build an alternative talent supply channel to meet business demand. The Pre-Employment Training Program Lead will be expected to contribute to strategic decision making, operate with limited supervision, build relationships with various internal and external stakeholders, lead a team of program managers supporting this effort, manage budgets, and be able to manage their own time to meet deadlines.   Job Responsibilities   Strategy and Design Ensuring the pre-employment training channel strategy is appropriately defined with clear messaging, structure, process, communication mechanisms, etc. Conduct market research to continuously identify various types of alternative organizations/vendors that would appropriately fill the talent supply needs Familiarity with IT industry and upcoming trends to navigate the discussions across the organization Build internal and external marketing messages and collateral (in collaboration with Cognizant Marketing, Corporate Communication, and other consulting groups) to ensure there is consistent and clear understanding of the Pre-Employment Training service offering (for Cognizant's business groups as well as the local communities we work in) Provide Senior Director with support to create strategy papers, presentations, or talking points for various leadership meetings, industry conferences on an as needed basisRepresent Cognizant at speaking events (i.e. conferences, panels, etc.) to discuss thought leadership around Workforce Development efforts appropriately Suggest and coordinate process improvements to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the larger program Formalize business engagement and organizational change management processes to sustain a continuous talent supply to meet client demand Ensure partner services are delivered in accordance with contractual / service level obligations   Overall expectations: Handle all duties with a high degree of integrity, professionalism and confidentiality Lead by example in adhering to Cognizant's cultural values   Delivery and Compliance Oversight of team that runs public-private partnerships that recruit, train, and hire workers for digitally-intensive roles across Ensure programs are running as designed and agreed upon between BUs and Training partners, ensure on time and on schedule with the highest of quality Work closely with various key workforce development members from other parts of the organization to deliver executive level updates, reports, etc. Monitor invoices and budget, reportstatistics, and escalate risks/issues   Experience and skills required Required Minimum of 12 years' relevant experience in disciplines including workforce development, corporate operations, IT leadership, training and development, consulting, project management, and business analysis. Candidates may currently be working in a key role for a smaller organization with aspirations to support a Fortune 500 global company, a successful project manager with experienceworking closely with top level executives, or an operations manager with experience working in large multi-national organizations Strong general business background including an MBA or other solid business foundation Must be well organized, detail-oriented and flexible with the ability to perform under emergency or high-pressure conditions. Able to work flexible hours and be available after hours if needed for urgent matters and international conference calls Exemplary time management and prioritization skills:  able to juggle regular daily operational cadence, strategic projects and variety of ad hoc tasks, and able to change direction quickly Able to work well with all levels of internal management and staff across geographies Strong business writing and structured communications Strong proficiency in Microsoft office products  Preferred Familiarity with IT services industry, market and business trends Experience in a corporate office supporting senior executives 00029871121

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
